Central Oregon Master Gardener Association

 

The Oregon State University Extension Service Master Gardenertm program has served Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson Counties for more than 25 years. The Master Gardener Program has trained hundreds of volunteers who help thousands of clients with their gardening questions at Plant Clinics in Redmond, Prineville and Madras.

 

Central Oregon Master Gardener Association (COMGA) is:

a non-profit association made up of Master Gardeners. It is a chapter of the Oregon Master Gardener Association and works in close cooperation with the OSU Extension Service.

 

Our Mission is to:

• Teach sustainable gardening practices which have their foundation in research-based information,

• Support the horticulture program in Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson Counties,

• Promote the O.S.U. Extension Service Master Gardener program in Central  Oregon and statewide. 

 

C.O.M.G.A:

sponsors a number of horticultural, educational, and demonstration events and projects throughout the year and provides volunteer support for a number of OSU Extension Service Master Gardener projects. COMGA provides a wide variety of volunteer opportunities and a venue for exchanging knowledge in a friendly environment.
